DescriptionAt Lufa Farms, we’re on a mission to create a better food system and a huge part of this is achieved by growing food where people live, and growing it responsibly. We also partner with hundreds of local farmers and foodmakers to offer a full lineup of fresh, local, responsible groceries through our online Marketplace, an ecommerce site we developed in-house. To keep moving forward, we need an experienced and visionary Vice President of Digital Products to define and execute our product strategy, collaborate with key business stakeholders, and ensure the successful delivery of customer-centric technology solutions. The VP Digital Products will oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to execution, working closely with development teams to align technology solutions with business goals. They’ll also work closely and in conjunction with our VP Technology. The ideal candidate has a strong background in product management, Agile methodologies, and e-commerce technology leadership.Responsibilities•Own and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap to align with business objectives and customer needs;•Act as the primary bridge between business stakeholders, development teams, and end-users to gather requirements, prioritize features, and define clear product goals;•Lead and coordinate the development team’s efforts to ensure timely and high-quality product delivery;•Define and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business needs and technical feasibility;•Implement Agile and Scrum methodologies to optimize product development processes and enhance collaboration;•Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer feedback assessments to inform product decisions;•Oversee project management activities, ensuring smooth execution and timely delivery of product features;•Work closely with UX/UI designers to enhance user experience and ensure seamless interactions;•Foster innovation by identifying emerging trends, technologies, and opportunities that enhance our online grocery platform;•Ensure compliance with security, regulatory standards, and best practices in product development.Requirements•8+ years of experience in product management, technology leadership, or related roles in e-commerce, retail, or digital platforms;•Strong background in Agile product ownership, with a proven ability to manage and prioritize product roadmaps;•Hands-on experience with backlog management, user story development, and stakeholder collaboration;•Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills;•Experience working with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, and operations;•Familiarity with modern web technologies, cloud solutions, and digital commerce platforms;•Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).Schedule•Full-time (40 hours per week).Compensation and benefits•You’ll be eligible to participate in the firm’s health insurance, dental, and disability programs after completion of the probationary period (paid 50% by the employee and 50% by Lufa Farms);•Access to TELUS Health Virtual Care (direct contact to health professionals by phone, video, or chat) and the Employee and Family Assistance Program (professional, short-term counselling covering a broad range of interpersonal issues);•30% discount on your Lufa Farms basket.

Responsibilities

Requirements

8+ years of experience in product management, technology leadership, or related roles in e-commerce, retail, or digital platforms;

•
Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills;
•
Experience working with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, and operations;

•
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Schedule
