They’d be working within our Projects team and reporting to our Facilities Supervisor. If you’re eager to join a passionate team and desire the opportunity to grow within a young company, send us your application!Responsibilities•Perform preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, irrigation, ventilation, heating, cooling, and hydroponic systems;•Conduct daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual inspections to ensure facilities and equipment operate safely and efficiently;•Install, maintain, and repair greenhouse equipment, irrigation systems, pumps, fans, greenhouse lighting, plumbing/PVC systems, and other operational equipment;•Diagnose equipment failures, investigate system alarms, and complete repairs to minimize downtime;•Perform general building maintenance, including carpentry, painting, replacement of ceiling tiles and lighting fixtures, and minor electrical and mechanical repairs;•Respond promptly to maintenance work orders and emergency service requests;•Complete daily visual inspections of buildings, equipment, and facility infrastructure;•Perform manual material handling tasks and assist with moving equipment, furniture, and supplies when required;•Maintain accurate maintenance records and complete work orders in the CMMS;•Maintain an organized inventory of spare parts, tools, and maintenance supplies;•Follow established maintenance procedures, safety policies, and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE);•Communicate maintenance status, equipment issues, and repair progress with the Facilities Manager and maintenance team.Requirements•DEP or DEC in general building maintenance, industrial mechanics, electromechanics, or equivalent work experience;•Strong background in electro-mechanics;•A minimum of three years in a similar position;•Highly independent;•Experience in manual tasks of all types (e.g., basic construction, electro-mechanic, installation, maintenance, repair);•Ability to work in an ever-changing environment;•Handy on equipment;•Demonstrate a team spirit and strong collaboration skills;•Solid organizational and planning skills;•Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle;•Bilingual (French and English).Schedule•Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week with availability of working over time and outside working hours.Compensation & benefits:•You’ll be eligible to participate in the firm’s health insurance, dental, and disability programs after completion of the probationary period (paid 50% by the employee and 50% by Lufa Farms);•Access to TELUS Health Virtual Care (direct contact to health professionals by phone, video, or chat) and the Employee and Family Assistance Program (professional, short-term counselling, covering a broad range of interpersonal issues);•30% discount on your Lufa Farms basket.

Responsibilities
•
Perform preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, irrigation, ventilation, heating, cooling, and hydroponic systems;

Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle;
•
Bilingual (French and English).
Schedule
