DescriptionAt Lufa Farms, we’re on a mission to create a better food system by growing food where people live and growing it responsibly. This led us to build the world’s first commercial rooftop greenhouse in 2011, followed by the world’s largest less than a decade later. To keep changing the way people eat in cities across the world, we’re looking for an English Copywriter to craft compelling content and grow our online community.The Copywriter will report to the Communications Manager and will be responsible for writing clear, engaging, and impactful copy across all channels while also managing our social media presence. This person will develop and execute social media content, build our online community, and support various teams with strategic messaging and copywriting needs.ResponsibilitiesCopywriting & Content Creation•Write clear, concise, and engaging copy for various platforms, including supplier descriptions, transactional emails, newsletters, website pages, and product descriptions;•Ensure copy is cohesive and aligned with brand guidelines throughout projects;•Regularly attend and contribute to briefs, debriefs, and marketing team meetings to align messaging across campaigns;•Support internal departments with copywriting needs, providing clear and effective messaging for initiatives.Social Media Management•Write, and publish weekly social media content across platforms;•Manage social media communities, responding to comments, DMs, and customer questions to build relationships and strengthen engagement;•Monitor and reply to Marketplace product comments, ensuring customers receive timely and helpful information;•Stay up to date with trends, social media algorithms, and emerging platforms to optimize reach and engagement;•Analyze social media performance, using insights to improve strategy and content.Requirements•Don’t just write copy. Tell our story, well;•Take ownership and instill excellence (and quality!) into each task;•Ensure all copy is compliant with our style guide (voice, tone, SEO guidelines);•Gatekeepers of our content across the board: no errors (spelling, grammar);•Balance between perfectionism and speed based on the impact and audience size;•Comfortable working with tight deadlines (often <1 day turnaround);•Stay adaptable to feedback and edits.Assets•Bachelor of Arts in English, Journalism, or Communications;•Experience as a Reporter, Staff Writer, or Copywriter for an e-Commerce company;•Genuine interest in Lufa Farms, our mission, and business model.Schedule & Compensation•40 hours/week.
